Francis Crick, James Watson, and Rosalind Franklin
American scientist, James Watson and English scientist, Francis Crick teamed up to determine the structure of DNA in the 1950s. Later Rosalind Franklin became at fault of for the photo 51 by using x-ray diffraction. This tremendously helped Watson and Crick. In 1953, Watson and Crick's hard work payed off, and they came up with the idea of the double helix for the shape of DNA. Sadly, Rosalind Franklin died before James Watson and Francis Crick got a nobel prize, otherwise, she would have gotten one.
